To continue our growth, we are looking for a Senior Network & Security Technician.
The manager of the TAC team, Rémy, is recruiting a network expert to take charge, in French and English, of incidents involving the network, system and security aspects of our products and the infrastructures in which they are integrated.
You will be in direct contact with our clients and partners trained and certified on Stormshield solutions.
We are looking for a person proficient in TCP/IP networks, IP routing and NAT, both theoretically and practically.
You have already deployed VPNs, hold a CSNA/CSNE certification or have proven experience with Stormshield products, and you are comfortable with UNIX and GNU/Linux systems as well as multilingual technical meetings.
What are the responsibilities of the Senior Network & Security Technician?
Identify malfunctions through log analysis and capture/analysis of network traffic;
Implement corrective measures;
Reproduce client cases using physical or virtual mock‑ups;
Interface with our R&D department to escalate observed failures that require a fix or improvement;
Documentation: feed the Knowledge Base, review technical notes;
Deliver technical presentations online to the partner network.
What is the technical environment?
Protocols: OSPF, BGP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP, LDAP…;
Scripting: bash, Shell;
Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V, Citrix Xen;
IT Security: firewall, IDS, IPS, VPN, PKI, SSH, encryption, authentication, etc.
Which team?
You will join the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team, managed by Rémy. This team consists of three levels and around thirty people, where mutual support and technical expertise are paramount.
Which product?
You will work on Stormshield firewalls as well as other products (Client VPN, authentication agent, log‑centralisation solution, centralized administration server) that make up the Stormshield Network Security (SNS) portfolio. You will support our certified customers in using these solutions and resolving their issues.
